Dr Aleisha Gorski

Aleisha is an experienced specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 10 years experience in the field. She has dedicated her career to providing the highest quality care to expectant mothers and their babies.

Aleisha began her medical journey completing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) at Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy at LaTrobe University, Bendigo. She received her medical degree at Notre Dame University in Western Australia before returning to Melbourne she found her love for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital. Here she undertook specialist training managing low and high risk pregnancies and deliveries. She completed her final years of training at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s hospital, where she currently holds a public appointment. 

As a trusted Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Aleisha provides a wide range of health services, including pre pregnancy counselling, management of routine and high risk pregnancies, labour and delivery.  She also loves to see mothers and babies for postpartum care. She works closely with each of her patients to evidence based and holistic care to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

In addition to her clinical work, Aleisha is also a dedicated teacher to aspiring doctors and Obstetrician and Gynaecologists in her public hospital appointment. She regularly attends conferences and seminars to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in her field. Outside of work, Aleisha enjoys spending time with her family, including her three young children. Staying physically active is an important part of Aleisha’s life, ensuring she has an abundance of energy to assist women on their pregnancy and birth journey.
