Dr Grace Blyth

Grace completed her Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University in South Australia before spending five years training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across Barwon Health, Northern Hospital, and the Royal Women’s Hospital. She furthered her expertise with a Certificate of Women’s Health before transitioning into General Practice, completing her training in Geelong and earning her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024.

Grace has a strong passion for reproductive and sexual health, with a particular focus on contraception, menstrual health, perinatal mental health, birth trauma, abortion care, and sexual assault support. She currently works at Barwon Health’s Choices Clinic and Sexual Health Clinic, as well as the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine as a Forensic Medical Officer, performing sexual assault examinations and supporting those affected by trauma. She also occasionally lends her surgical skills as an assistant in theatre.

She is highly skilled in Implanon and IUD insertions, and is currently furthering her expertise by undertaking a Master’s in Forensic Medicine.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys running, great food and wine, and spending time with her family including her beautiful young daughter Sophia Kara.
